How a Passion for Nature & Scenery Coupled With a Desire for Travel Led to Barak Naggan’s Life’s Work
Barak Naggan is an award winning, professional stills and video photographer, and multimedia editor who has spent the last 25 years exploring and doing photography in more than 40 countries. He was born in the United States, and has lived most of his life in Israel, but has called New Mexico home for almost two decades. Barak first became interested in photography in his late teens when he saw the incredibly diverse scenery of Israel from the cockpit of a military helicopter. He found he had a love for nature and scenery coupled with a desire for travel, so when he completed the required tour of duty in Israel he began to wander the world. Barak’s been riding dual sport motorcycles all over the world for over 30 years, recording adventure wherever his travels take him. He’s also documented adventure trips for Israeli television and has shot and edited documentaries for the European National Geographic Channel. Now he’s a tour guide, does adventure training, shoots documentaries on motorcycle tours and also teaches about photography and videography.
