Question/s: Hi guys, love the show, and thanks for the company on some of my long road trips with work. Now, Brian and Shirley would know a guy called Tim Minchin here in Oz, he once described himself as not funny enough to be a comedian, and not quite good enough to be a musician, but he’s made it as a comedy songwriter! Got me thinking, do the panel consider themselves primarily Riders or Travellers? Because I can imagine that the thrill of the ride can be satisfied by going around the block, to the same extent that the enjoyment of the travel to far flung destinations can really keep you going through those times of long bum breaking tedious hours in the saddle.

Question/s: Logistics of visas. I tend to travel without planning too much in advance but have usually done only one country in-depth at a time. I’m a few years away still but when I imagine my RTW, my head starts to spin about so many visas… what needs to get done before you go vs. what you have to get on the road, timing of applications, time permitted for each country and then how it relates to route planning, etc etc. How to balance freedom of just going with the flow vs overwhelming need to plan for visa applications before I leave home....I just want to hit the road but feel like I need to carry an Excel spreadsheet for timing of all the visas!

Question/s: Does it ever get any easier cutting down on the stuff you pack for a long trip?

Question/s: OK - I got a SENA and that was a game changer for me. Aside from the communication aspects. I really enjoy listening to music. Many times songs become a soundtrack for a trip or ride. I just finished Elsbeth Beards Book and this song stood out as a "Soundtrack" for the book. https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/let-go-feat-grabbitz/1177683751?i=1177684379. It's by fellow Canadian "Dead Mau5" Joel Zimmerman. My question is: Is music a piece of kit on trips, long or short, and is there a stand out moment when music was a part of a trip? Oh, and who or what kind of music do you ride with? Just guessing Graham may like Pink Floyd, the Rix's AC/DC. Sam, the Beatles? Just guessing…
