Why Indonesia Should be on Your Moto Destination List - Dustin Evans
Dustin Evans has spent a lot of time travelling by motorcycle, living and working off a bike for eight years. He’s been to 132 countries, but one country that is particularly interesting to him is Indonesia. Dustin has been there three times and the third time round he decided to rent a motorcycle and spend more time exploring. For five months he rode 32,000 km around Indonesia and experienced the culture almost like a local, rarely seeing foreigners on motorcycles. He’s ridden on the oceanside for two days straight, stayed in beach towns and rode down in to volcanoes. It’s inexpensive to visit Indonesia and for those concerned about language barriers, English is the second language, so no matter where you go people will speak English. Although Dustin’s been hesitant to tell others about his experiences of Indonesia, with concerns of the country becoming overrun and changed, he has decided to share his adventures so that ARR listeners may also have the opportunity to go see this beautiful, unspoiled country.
